CAN I BRING A GUEST?

We kindly ask that only those specifically named on the invitation attend. Due to limited capacity at our venue, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and are so grateful to celebrate this special day with you.

HOW SOON SHOULD I BOOK MY HOTEL?

WHEN DO I RSVP?

We would appreciate all guests to submit a “Soft RSVP” by the end of 2025. This will help us get an idea of how many people plan to attend. Think of it as an informal “heads up”-there’s no need to commit to the specifics just yet.

January 2026, you will receive a formal invitation with all the details, at which we’ll request your final RSVP to everything by May 5th, 2026.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE WEDDING?

We love your little ones, but due to limited space and the nature of the celebration, we are only able to welcome a few high school-aged guests. We appreciate your understanding!

WHAT KIND OF WEATHER CAN I EXPECT?

July is one of the warmest months in Iceland, with temperatures typically ranging from 50–60°F (10–15°C). However, weather can change quickly, and some days, especially during outdoor excursions, can feel near freezing, so we recommend bringing a warm winter jacket. There will be nearly 24 hours of daylight thanks to the midnight sun!

WHAT SHOULD I DO IN ICELAND?

Please see our Travel Page that will be dedicated to recommendations for those who would like to make a vacation out of it!

WHAT DO I PACK?

To travel to Iceland you’ll need a valid passport. Make sure it’s valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure from Iceland. If it’s close to expiring, be sure to renew it before you go!

Iceland’s summer is some of our winters, and its unpredictable. If you’re planning to stay and do excursions you will need; layers, a winter jacket, beanies, gloves, and comfortable hiking shoes.

Power Adapters. Iceland uses Type F power plugs with a voltage of 230V and frequency of 50Hz. Be sure to pack an appropriate adapter since you will need to charge your electronics!

Black Tie Attire. For those attending the ceremony and reception, remember that black tie attire is expected. If you have any doubts about the dress code, please reach out!
